Why Original Pack Co. exists

The dogs behind Original Pack Co.

Inspired by Olive, Pepper, and Cinnamon, the original pack, whose different personalities helped shape our individualized standard of care, teaching us to match support to each dog's pace, temperament, and emotional needs.

They showed us that every dog has a story of their own, some trust quickly, while others need patience, consistency, and a gentle start.

Some thrive on companionship and shared rhythm, while others feel most settled when they have purposeful adventure and enrichment.

That is our standard of care: never forcing a dog to fit the environment, but choosing the environment that fits the dog.

Care principles

Built on three simple beliefs

These principles come from the original pack— Olive, Pepper, and Cinnamon—and guide how we match care to each dog’s real needs.

Companionship & enrichment

Olive reminds us that good care is relational: meaningful company, mental stimulation, and the right kind of adventure for each dog’s personality.

Patience & emotional safety

Inspired by Pepper, we prioritize calm pacing, thoughtful introductions, consistecy, and trust-first handling so sensitive dogs can settle without pressure.

Individualized care & physical safety

Cinnamon taught us that every dog needs a different plan, so we choose each environment with care to keep your dog safe and happy.

Services

Services designed around how your dog actually lives and feels

This is the practical core of our care. Each service is matched to your dog’s temperament, energy, and social comfort so support stays safe, thoughtful, and genuinely useful—not one-size-fits-all.

OPC Walks

One-on-one neighborhood walks tailored to your dog’s pace, comfort, and focus. Ideal for dogs who need individualized attention, steady structure, and calm handling instead of shared group stimulation.

OPC Adventures

Small-group adventure outings for dogs who genuinely enjoy social exploration. Groups are carefully matched by temperament, play style, and energy so the experience stays enriching, balanced, and safe.

OPC Solo Adventures

Private outdoor adventures that still deliver enrichment and discovery without group pressure. Best for dogs who cannot safely participate in group settings and need focused, behavior-aware support.

OPC Companion Visits

In-home daytime visits with companionship, potty breaks, and calm engagement while you’re away. A thoughtful fit for dogs who benefit from familiar surroundings and steady emotional support through the day.

OPC Boarding

Individualized boarding shaped around temperament, routines, and care needs. We never force dogs into group or cage-based setups, we build a plan that helps your dog feel secure and understood.

Common questions

  • Helpful answers to common questions before you reach out

Every dog is different, so our process is built to understand temperament, pace, and comfort before recommending care.

Are fearful or reactive dogs a fit for our services?

Yes. We regularly support fearful and reactive dogs with calm handling, thoughtful pacing, and low-pressure routines. We start with a detailed intake so we can build care around your dog’s real triggers and comfort level.

How do you match dogs for small-group adventures?

We match by temperament, play style, energy, and social comfort—not just location. Group size stays intentionally small, and if a dog would do better in a different setup, we recommend a solo option instead.

What does a solo adventure include?

A solo adventure is one-on-one outdoor time tailored to your dog’s pace and confidence. It can include neighborhood exploration, trail walking, enrichment breaks, and decompression without the pressure of group dynamics.

Are companion visits a good fit for lower-energy or highly social dogs?

Absolutely. Companion visits are ideal for dogs who need company, gentle interaction, potty support, medication routines, or a calmer day than a full outing. We shape each visit to what helps your dog feel settled.

How does the first conversation work?

We start with a short call or text-based consult to learn your goals, schedule, and your dog’s behavior patterns. From there, we suggest the best-fit service and next steps so you can decide with confidence.

Tell us about your dog, and we’ll help you find the right fit.

The first step is simple: we listen, learn your dog’s needs, and recommend care that feels safe and sustainable.
